Tokenization can be defined as the process in which Sr Pago registers Credit Card information and returns a String such as tok_xxxxxxxxx, which you will use to manage the charge process afterwards.
In order to have a secure transaction and the compliance of all industry standards you must avoid the unnecessary manipulation of Credit Card information, these is the main reason for Credit Card tokenization.
It’s important to state that the tokenization process is triggered in the application’s frontend so it will be either a javascript code or embedded in the Android/iOS application.
